Jo Fechner, 60, of Ramsey, Minn., died suddenly Thursday, July 8, 2010.
Services were held July 13 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Anoka, Minn. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka.
Jo was born August 2, 1949, in Miller, S.D. to Fred and Evelyn Fanning.
She attended elementary school in St. Lawrence and Miller High School. Later she became an LPN and spent many years working for Anoka-Hennepin School District as a school nurse.
She met Jim Fechner and they were married November 15, 1969 at the Presbyterian Church in Miller. They later moved to Minnesota. They were blessed with three children, Lisa, Koby and Jared.
Jo enjoyed her flower gardens and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
She is survived by her husband Jim of Ramsey; daughter Lisa (Jon) Wellman of Elk River, Minn.; sons Koby (Patty) of Forest Lake, Minn., and Jared (Kristina) of Isanti, Minn.; seven grandchildren; parents, Fred and Evelyn Fanning, St. Lawrence; and siblings, Denny (Suzette) Fanning, Ruby Fanning, Fred Fanning, Jane (Larry) Russell and John (Kim) Fanning.
